The NHS in West Lancashire and Public Health England (PHE) are well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to protect patients, our community and our staff while ensuring as many services as possible are available to the public.


Latest information about COVID-19

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4 January 2021, England is in national lockdown. Among other things, this means not leaving home except for specific, essential reasons and not travelling outside of your area unless for a legally permitted reason.
