Dr Peter Gregory, a GP in West Lancashire and chair of NHS West Lancashire CCG, delivers this week’s vaccination update for West Lancashire.
Following the news earlier this week that we have now hit five million doses in the North West, the latest figures show over 95,000 doses of a COVID-19 jab have now been administered in our area.
Dr Gregory also encourages people aged 40 and above to book their first dose after the NHS moved down to the age group this morning (Friday 30 April), while also reminding residents about the closure or altered opening hours of some services over the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.
Watch below for the full update and if you are eligible, book your vaccination now.
