NHS WEST Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be hosting its annual ‘Meet the CCG’ event on Tuesday 24 September 2019 in Skelmersdale.
The event which will take place at the Evermoor HUB (1 Birleywood, Skelmersdale, WN8 9HR) on Tuesday 24 September 2019, from 11.30am (for registration and refreshments) until 2.30pm (subject to change) and will be an opportunity for residents of West Lancashire to meet their local CCG; meet the teams from across the organisation and our partner organisations, and learn about the projects and programmes that are being delivered in West Lancashire.
The event will also include the CCG’s annual general meeting (AGM) and include presentations from amongst others, Mike Maguire, chief officer and Paul Kingan, chief finance officer at NHS West Lancashire CCG.
Mike Maguire, chief officer at NHS West Lancashire CCG, said: “The CCG is committed to delivering health and social care for the residents of West Lancashire for which we serve, this work is delivered not just by ourselves, but also through a number of key partners who will be represented on the day.
“Last years’ ‘Meet the CCG’ event proved a real success with more than 120 people attending, and with even more work to showcase at this years’ event we are looking forward to meeting everyone on the 24th September.
“Combining this unique style of event with our AGM is a fantastic opportunity to bring together CCG staff, partners and residents, to hear about the work of the local NHS and for us to understand what people feel is working and areas with which we need to focus our attention.”
