Have your say on varicose veins

Have your say on varicose veins

As part of the ongoing review of clinical policies for all the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Lancashire and South Cumbria, we are now seeking views and comments on the latest policy to be reviewed.

The latest draft clinical policy open for patient and public feedback is the policy for the treatment of varicose veins.

The draft policy can be found below.  For some CCGs this is a new policy while for others this is a revised and updated policy.  You are invited to read the revised varicose veins policy before giving your feedback. You can click on the link next to the policy in order to complete a short survey and give your views.

To help you we have also included a Level of Change document that identifies what has been changed in the updated policy compared to the current policy.  There is also a Frequently Asked Questions document that may answer any queries you have about the process or about this policy.

Your comments will be fed back to the CCG as part of the development process.

Comments on the varicose veins policy should be submitted by Friday 19 October.

Any groups or individuals who wish to discuss these draft policies in addition to completing the survey can make arrangements to do so by contacting haveyoursay@nhs.net or ring 01772 214244.

Similarly, if you have any further questions about this policy or the process being undertaken email mlcsu.haveyoursay@nhs.net or ring 01772 214244 or contact the CCG.

If you require any of these documents in an alternative format such as Braille, larger print, audio, British Sign Language or in a language other than English please contact the Customer Care Team in one of the following ways:

Freephone:  0800 032 2424 Telephone:  01772 777 952 Textphone:  01772 227 005 or email.

Further opportunities will be made available for your involvement and feedback on other clinical policies as and when they are developed and available for discussion.
