As part of the ongoing review of clinical policies for all the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Lancashire and South Cumbria, we are now seeking views and comments on three new or revised policies.
The latest draft clinical policies open for patient and public feedback are as follows:
- new policy for the supply and funding of insulin pumps for patients with Diabetes Mellitus. Please give your feedback here.
- a new policy for the provision of continuous glucose monitoring and flash glucose monitoring for patients with Diabetes Mellitus. Please give your feedback here.
- policy for the management of back pain (spinal injections and radiofrequency denervation) – a change management document is also available here. Please give your feedback here.
You are invited and recommended to read the clinical policies before giving your feedback. You can click on the link next to each policy to complete a short survey and give your views.
The enclosed Frequently Asked Questions document may answer any queries you have about the process or about these policies. To help you we have also included a change management document that identifies what has been changed in the updated policy for back pain – spinal injections. As the policies on insulin pumps and glucose monitoring are new policies there is no comparison required with previous policies.
Your comments will be fed back to the CCG as part of the development process.
Comments on these policies should be submitted by Tuesday 26 June 2018.
If you would prefer to have a hard-copy of the policy and/or of the survey questionnaire, please contact the CCG using the contact page on this website or email mlcsu.haveyoursay@nhs.net or call 01772 214244.
Any groups or individuals who wish to discuss these draft policies in addition to completing the survey can make arrangements to do so by contacting haveyoursay@nhs.net or ring 01772 214244
