The CCG continues to welcome views from members of the public and patients about any experiences of local NHS services. This includes views and experiences that are considered as part of the ongoing community health services procurement.
If you have used a local community health service and would like to share your views and experiences, please complete a patient story form, which is accessible via the link below and return it to the CCG via its email@example.com or post NHS West Lancashire CCG, Hilldale, Wigan Road, Ormskirk, L39 2JW. The form can be downloaded via this web page:
A spokesperson for NHS West Lancashire CCG, said:
“As healthcare commissioners and as a membership organisation made up of local GP practices, we continue to welcome views from our local community. We have also met and continue to meet our legal duty to involve our stakeholders (including local GPs, patients, councillors and MPs) in any procurement process. We would like to encourage anyone with any views to share to complete a patient story form or contact the CCG directly. There will be further opportunities for involvement later this year with some local events currently being organised”.
Cllr Steve Holgate, Chair of the Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee in Lancashire, said:
“As chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee for health, I can confirm that NHS West Lancashire CCG has actively engaged twice with the committee, with the offer of more direct discussions in the future. The committee is therefore currently satisfied with the level of involvement the CCG has undertaken as part of its community health services procurement process”.
