Members of the public are invited to the annual general meeting (AGM) of local NHS leaders, West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
The AGM will be held on Tuesday 22 September at Banks Leisure Centre (Greaves Hall Ave, Banks, PR9 8BL) and is a chance to learn more about the local NHS and ask questions directly to the management team in a panel style question and answer session.
Dr John Caine, chair of NHS West Lancashire CCG and local GP, said: “Despite our AGM being a formal requirement, we also view this as a valuable opportunity to highlight our achievements, challenges and plans for the year ahead, and welcome views and input from our community”.
The event is being hosted alongside a health network event of West Lancs CVS. Greg Mitten, chief officer of West Lancs CVS, said: “The AGM will involve updates and discussion with the voluntary, community and faith sector and allow both local voluntary groups and members of the public to quiz the NHS management team about a broad range of topics.”
