The healthcare commissioners in West Lancashire are to hold their next board meeting in public at Holland Hall Hotel in Up Holland on Tuesday 24 March at 9.30am.
Members of the local community are welcome to attend to observe the board meetings. Questions relating to items on the agenda, which is published one week prior to the meeting, can also be raised by visiting the governing body page of the CCG’s website or by contacting 01695 588144 by noon on Monday 23 March. There is also the opportunity for attendees to have an informal discussion with some of the board members following the closure of the meeting.
A spokesperson for NHS West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), said: “As a public organisation, it is crucial that we meet with individuals and groups from our local community. Holding board meetings in public is one way to do this. We have also added on an informal session at the end of the meeting to allow our board members to speak to members of our local community directly, and listen to their ideas and experiences.”
This meeting is held in public. Anyone wishing to raise a question relating to an agenda item on the day must visit the website for the relevant instructions or notify the secretary to the board directly (01695 588144) by noon Monday 23 March, mentioning which agenda item they wish to comment upon. This will enable the CCG to ensure that those who wish to speak can be invited to do so.
The meeting will run for two hours and be held in the Deanwood Suite, Holland Hall Hotel, Lafford Lane, Up Holland, WN8 0QZ.
